Hello All. So far, this year has already been a crazy ride. I’ve had new opportunities, excitements, and disappointments. I have gained new friends and let go of pretend friends. Days are flying by and I’m simply trying to keep up. It is a fight to stay alive when you’re trying to brake through in the music business. I can honestly say I have been busting my ass since the moment I first moved to NYC to pursue my career. I have met some great, inspiring, motivational people who have helped shaped who I am today. However, I have also met the exact opposite. I realized that people who are jaded and quit themselves try to place their negative experiences and beliefs onto you. They seem to think that you will follow that path as well. It’s so hard to stay positive. I am lucky though. Although I have my ups and downs, I have an amazing support system that gives me the strength to stay and fight for what I want. I am proud that I have come thus far. I will continue to work until I get to where I believe I should be. No one can hold me back. Take a look at your life, don’t let anyone hold you back or put limitations on what you are capable of. The only person who is in control of your destiny is you. Stay surround yourself with people who respect you, motivate you and you can learn from. I may not know what will happen tomorrow, but I do know that I am happy right now. With that said, the positive energy is throwing wonderful opportunities my way.
